Memorial Day is a day that is set aside each year to honor those people who served in the military to protect our country and died as a result of that service. Once the Memorial Day ceremony is complete, a meal and drinks may be provided. Sometimes, at these types of ceremonies, the people may gather together and make a dedication to the deceased. These types of dedications may include planting a tree, dedicating a garden, or erecting an actual monument to glorify the deceased.

There are many types of Memorial Day traditions that are observed across the country by various people. This is a day that is set aside to honor and uphold those people who have died serving our country. Many people celebrate with very creative ways.
