Area traffic fatality totals show large drop

Henderson County saw a large drop in traffic fatalities in 2009, according to information released this week from the Texas Department of Transportation. The county had 19 traffic deaths during 2009, a decease of 29 percent from the 27 the previous year. Several fire departments combat blaze

A 53-foot semi-trailer, its contents and storage structure, and about three acres of grass were destroyed after a fire with unknown origin occurred mid-day Thursday.
